Solution: regular breaks for vision eye care
The solution for optimal vision, protecting it from digital stress and above all reducing eye fatigue and all the side effects, would be to take regular and effective pauses for vision. By taking a real break away from screens and near vision you invest to your eye wellness.

The famous 20/20/20 rule, or for Europe 20/20/6, is one of the first advices found on the Internet for visual well-being. It involves looking away from the screen every 20 minutes, for 20 seconds, at an object located at least 20 feet (or 6 meters) away.

But what is even more effective for eye health is to take at least 4 visual breaks per day of a few minutes (1 to 5 minutes). The golden rule would be to take a break for a few minutes every 2 hours whilst working in front of screens.

“Your EyeZ” web app has prepared guided efficient workouts that will take you through efficient eye pauses.

Unfortunately, solutions such as larger screens, glasses against blue light emission, ergonomic armchairs... only provide a certain visual comfort, but do not really solve the problem of prolonged staring at close distances, and therefore do not reduce visual fatigue. Coffee breaks are also prove to be of little use in reducing eyestrain, as coffee machines or kettles are usually situated at a close a distance, thus not providing needed relaxation for the eyes.

The solution lies in breaks that are beneficial for the eyesight.
